Packages are sent by the Icelandic Post Office to the nearest post office or PO box. We offer free shipping on all products. Home deliveries are paid by the recipient and are according to the Icelandic Post Office price list.

In most cases, it takes 1 – 4 days to receive the product after an order is placed, but orders are not shipped on Saturdays and Sundays. 

This only applies to Iceland. 

Product and price information

All prices in the online store are in Icelandic krónur and include value-added tax (VAT) and are published with reservation for typing errors. Prices in the online store may change without notice, for example due to incorrect price information or incorrect registration. If there is a mistake in the price marking of products in the online store, which is of a nature that the buyer may know that it is an obvious mistake, Tösku-og hanskabúðin reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the customer without delay if payment has been made.

Teya Services Ltd. handles all card information handling in a secure environment.

The process

The cardholder selects products or services to purchase from the seller's online store. After completing the order, he clicks on a payment button that takes him to the Teya Payment Page. There, information about the seller and the product being purchased is displayed, as well as the amount. The buyer enters the card number, expiration date, CVC security code (Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode) if applicable, and then requests authorization. The buyer and the online store receive a response to the authorization request. The seller immediately knows whether the payment has been successful. With this method, the seller does not store any card information and is therefore not responsible for it.

Payment is accepted with Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard. The seller uses a secure payment gateway from Teya in Iceland. Netgíro and Pei are also available.

Foollowing return policies

The rules are based on procedures that the Ministry of Commerce prepared with the Consumers' Association in January 2001.

The product return period is 14 days.

Non-defective products can be returned within 14 days against a receipt or comparable confirmation of the transaction, such as a credit card statement, as long as the product is unused and in its original condition.

Upon return of goods, the customer is entitled to receive a credit note if a new product is not included in the returned goods. The credit note is valid for two years from the date of issue and is valid for the redemption of an unspecified product for the value of the credit note.

A credit note issued within 14 days of the start of a sale does not apply as payment for a sale item and is marked as such.

When a product is defective within the meaning of the law, the consumer has the right to a remedy. The seller has the right to repair the defect, but is not allowed more than two attempts.

Luggage

If a suitcase is damaged or destroyed, the passenger must report it to the airport service desk before leaving the terminal. Or contact the relevant airline.

A passenger can direct their claim for compensation to the airline they are flying with or to the travel agency or airline they purchased the trip from.

Confidentiality

The seller promises the buyer complete confidentiality regarding all information provided in connection with the transaction. Under no circumstances will the information be disclosed to third parties.
